The Rev. DR. WILLY CRESPO

The Rev. Dr. Willy Crespo retired as Chief Chaplain from the Bureau of Prisons after 20 years of service.  Prior to the Federal system, Fr. Willy worked in the New York City Jails for 10 years. When he retired from the Federal Bureau of prisons in 2008, he went to work with St. Timothy’s Episcopal church and after 16 years with them retired.  Subsequently Fr. Willy worked for St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in El Cajon, CA,  for another two years and is now very happy to join the good people of St. Matthew’s.  Some of you may recognize Fr. Willy who intermittently substituted for The Rev. Mother Patricia.  Fr. Willy is bi-lingual (Spanish/English) and has an interest in psychology and philosophy.
